Video Clip of a Saarloos Wolfdog Dwarf Bitch

Saartje is a female Saarloos Wolfdog dwarf, born 23 October, 2003.

In the litter of 5, two were dwarfs, and another puppy died the first day.  Normally dwarfs go bald (alopecia), but Saartje is the first dog to be treated with Growth Hormone in Holland.  That is why she gets a new coat every year. With this treatment we expect her to reach a normal age, while untreated dwarfs usually only live for 2 to 4 years.

The other dog in the video-clip is not a Saarloos, but a Kaukasian Owcharka, male, aged 7 years.
